We understand that reaching out to start counseling can be difficult and we strive to make it easier. We have an intake coordinator who answers calls live, during normal business hours. If she misses your call, you will hear back from her, or one of our therapists, within just a few hours. We will answer questions at that time, or we will schedule a 15-minute initial phone consultation. When we talk with you during your initial consultation, we understand that you are considering whether or not you feel it will be a good fit. We will let you know if we feel that we are well suited to address your needs and provide the therapy that will best accomplish your goals. During the consultation we will listen to your concerns and reasons for seeking treatment, and will answer any questions you may have about our approach to counseling or about EMDR therapy.
If you are seeking counseling in Lakewood, CO, just as in our Centennial offices, we have a team of therapists that all specialize in EMDR therapy, but each have their unique areas of focus. Sometimes we collaborate by teaming up with cases, dividing care for families and individuals within families.
